Sana’a – Saba : A meeting in Sana’a today, chaired by Minister of Information Hashem Sharaf al-Din, discussed the performance of media work in media institutions and outlets in light of current developments and events.
The meeting, which included Deputy Minister of Information Dr. Omar al-Bukhaiti, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) – Editor-in-Chief Nasr al-Din Amer, discussed ways to organize media work for national and private media institutions and outlets and their program map.
The meeting, which was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information Yahya Hamid, Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Revolution Foundation for Press, Printing and Publishing, Ahmed Rasa’, and Acting Director of the General Corporation for Radio and Television of Yemen, Abdulrahman al-Ahnumi, reviewed the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, regarding unifying efforts, joint media work, developing the performance of media ou
tlets, and innovating creative solutions.
The attendees were informed of the Leader’s directives in his last speech for the media front to play its role during the current stage and to be active and for the knights of jihad to intensify their efforts to confront all the satanic campaigns aimed at breaking the morale of the Zionist enemy and its hypocritical agents, and the role assigned to the media institutions to absorb the directives and implement them in practical reality. The Republican Decree on determining the objectives, tasks and general competencies of the Ministry of Information and the main organizational divisions and sectors affiliated with it (the sectors of media policies and content, and relations and external media) and ways to organize work in them were also reviewed.
