CAPITALS: Massive demonstrations took place in various capitals and cities around the world on Sunday in condemnation of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip. Thousands took part in protests held in New York City; Norway's capital, Oslo, the capital of Belgium, Brussels, as well as in Genoa in Italy, Rotterdam in Netherlands and Gothenburg and Malmö in Sweden. The demonstrators voiced their support for the Palestinian people, demanding a ceasefire and the immediate delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza. Protesters waved Palestinian flags and raised banners condemning the crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian population. Demonstrators called for an end to the genocide in Gaza and to double standards, emphasizing the necessity of holding the occupation accountable for its atrocities against Palestinians, especially children.
