The Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation in Hajjah province on Tuesday initiated a workshop to introduce the Integrated Response Project for Affected Communities. Implemented by the Danish Refugee Council, the project aims to bolster the resilience of communities in the province center, Mastaba, and Qafl Shammar districts. By enhancing access to essential services and creating a safer, healthier environment, the project seeks to alleviate the suffering of affected populations. The workshop focused on water and sanitation interventions, outlining plans to improve water supplies, sanitation practices, and hygiene promotion through the distribution of essential hygiene items. Local officials emphasized the project's significance in addressing the needs of the community and called for expanded implementation of sustainable initiatives to create a lasting impact.
