Beirut: A 16-year-old Palestinian was killed on Wednesday by Israeli forces near the town of Jaljulia, north of Ramallah. The Palestinian Ministry of Health identified the victim as Yusuf Kaabneh. The incident also resulted in four others being injured by rubber-coated bullets amid an assault carried out by colonists, who were protected by the Israeli army, on the villages of Sinjil, Jaljulia, and Abwein, north of Ramallah.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, local sources affirmed that dozens of armed colonists attacked Palestinian homes in the aforementioned villages. The colonists chased shepherds and stole their livestock as residents confronted them. Reports indicate that approximately 700 sheep were stolen during the attack on Sinjil.
Earlier in the day, the colonists targeted Palestinian homes on the outskirts of Jaljulia, seizing sheep and agricultural equipment in their assault.
