The Minister of Public Works and Roads in the caretaker government, Ghaleb Mutlaq, and the Governor of Hodeida, Muhammad Ayyash Qahim, today,Wednesday, inspected the progress of work in the ministry's office in Hodeida province. Mutlaq and Qahim were briefed on the level of performance and completion of work in the departments and departments of the Works Office, and they heard from the Director of the Office, Engineer Muhammad Muthanna, an explanation about the matrix of projects that he supervises their implementation, and the efforts made to follow up on their completion. The meeting touched on the progress of work in the Public Works Office, performance level of its branches in the directorates, and the efforts made to address imbalances and improve services provided to citizens, especially with regard to issuing and granting licenses and preventing any violations in this regard. The efforts made in implementing the tasks , work assigned to the Public Works Office ,the successes achieved in field task s and project completion during the year 2023 were also discussed. While the Director of the Public Works Office reviewed a report on implementation level of road construction projects in the province's directorates, field monitoring campaigns for facilities, markets, and the application of procedures in accordance with the regulations governing construction work. Mutlaq and Qahim inspected the progress of work in a number of service projects in the province, including Bajil Road - Al-Salif Junction, the first and second phases of the project to rehabilitate the coastal corniche in Hodeida city, and the concrete paving project on Al-Shahid Al-Sammad Street in Hodeidah.
