The first Saudi planes loaded with urgent medical and food aid took off today, as part of the Saudi relief air bridge, carrying 46 containers of various pharmaceutical and therapeutic aid, towards Rafik Hariri Airport in the Lebanese capital, Beirut. Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati announced, on Saturday evening, that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will launch an air bridge to transport aid to Lebanon, expressing his thanks to all countries that helped Lebanon in these difficult circumstances.
