Hebron: A Palestinian youth was injured by Israeli gunfire on Saturday evening near the Meitar checkpoint, south of Hebron in the southern West Bank.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli forces opened fire at workers near the Israeli separation wall close to the Meitar checkpoint. The incident left one person wounded by live ammunition, and he was subsequently transferred to a hospital for treatment.
In a separate incident, four Palestinians were affected after Israeli forces used pepper spray in the Wadi Al-Sharq area in the town of Sa'ir, northeast of Hebron. The Palestine Red Crescent Society reported that its crews provided medical assistance to the four injured individuals and transported them to a hospital for further care.
