Hebron: A young Palestinian man was killed by Israeli occupation forces on Saturday morning in Khirbet Salama, west of Dura, southwest of Hebron. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, security and local sources reported that Israeli forces shot and killed 25-year-old Muhammad Ahmad Abu Ghaliyeh al-Suwaiti in Khirbet Salama. The forces claimed that he was attempting to approach the settlement of Negohot, which is built on Palestinian land and property southwest of Hebron. Al-Suwaiti was pronounced dead at the scene. Additional sources indicated that following the shooting, Israeli forces withheld al-Suwaiti's body. Khirbet Salama, the location of the incident, is situated west of Dura in the Hebron Governorate in the southern West Bank and is one of the villages occupied by Israel during the 1967 war.
