Eighteen people were killed and five injured in an Israeli raid on Zaarta region in northern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Red Cross.
It said Israeli aircraft struck a house in the town of Aito in Zgharta district, and one person was injured in an Israeli airstrike on Ras Baalbek in the Bekaa Valley.
A Lebanese source said a Red Cross aid convoy was heading to Ras Baalbek when Israeli jets struck, damaging a truck and wounding the driver.
Israeli aircraft also carried out raids on the towns of Al-Ain in the northern Bekaa, and Kfar Kila, Khiyam, Yater and the area between the towns of Al-Housh, Burj Al-Shamali and Batoulieh in Southern Lebanon, and also overflew Beirut and the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, added the source.
