The activities of the Great Prophet Festival for Artistic and Cultural Creativity, in its eleventh session, will start on Thursday at Gamal Abdel Nasser Hall at Sana'a University, on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet. The administration of the Great Prophet Festival said in a statement - received by Saba that the festival in its eleventh edition, in addition to competitions "recitation of the Holy Quran, Arabic poetry, and chanting for the adult and children" categories, will include morning activities and evenings in which theatrical, artistic, and cultural performances, and the participation of singing groups from the governorates. The statement stated that the number of applicants for the festival competitions reached 578 contestants, and were conducted preliminary qualifiers to qualify nine of them in the Holy Quran, 12 in singing for adults, and like them in singing for children, and nine in Arabic poetry, and will compete during the days of the festival.
