Doha: The draw for the 27th Asian Clubs Handball Championship for Men, which will be held in Doha from November 13 to 24, was held Thursday, qualifying for the World Clubs Championship for Continental Champions (Super Globe 2025) . The draw places Al Rayyan of Qatar, the tournament host, in Group 1, alongside Al Karkh of Iraq, Al Kuwait of Kuwait, Al Sharjah of the UAE, and Al Shabab of Bahrain, while the second representative of Qatari handball, Al Duhail, is placed in Group 2, with Al Khaleej of Saudi Arabia, Ahli Sidab of Oman, Kazma of Kuwait, and Mes Kerman of Iran. The teams that finish in the first four places in each group qualify for the quarter-finals. The draw ceremony was attended by Jassim Al-Dhiyab, Technical Director of the Asian Handball Federation, Mohammed Jaber Al-Mulla, Secretary-General of the Qatar Handball Federation, and Ali Salem Afifa, Vice President of Al Rayyan Club, in addition to representatives of the clubs participating in the tournament. This will be the fifth time that Qa tar hosts the Asian Men's Handball Clubs Championship after 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2016. The last edition of the championship was held in Kuwait last November, and the Saudi Al-Khaleej team was crowned champion after winning the final match against the Qatari Al-Arabi team 35/33. It is worth noting that the Qatari Al-Sadd team holds the record for the number of times winning the championship title, as it won the title five times, while the Qatari Al-Duhail team won the title three times, the Qatari Al-Jaish, Kazma and Al-Qadisiya from Kuwait, the Bahraini Al-Najma team twice, and once for each of: Al-Rayyan and Al-Arabi (Qatar), Al-Fahaheel, Al-Sulaibikhat and Kuwait (Kuwait), Al-Ahli, Mudhar, Al-Noor and Al-Khaleej (Saudi Arabia), and the Lebanese Al-Sadd team.
