Nablus: A Palestinian man was injured by Israeli gunfire early Monday morning during a raid on the city of Nablus. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its crews treated a 33-year-old man who had been shot in the thigh with live ammunition in the Rafidia area. Israeli forces had prevented medical personnel from approaching the wounded man for some time. Security sources told WAFA that a special unit of the Israeli army raided the Rafidia neighborhood of the city, followed by several military vehicles. Soldiers opened fire, injuring the man. They also raided a residential building in the Makhfiya neighborhood, searching the homes and causing damage. No detentions were reported. They added that the occupation forces stormed the city at dawn for the second time in a row, and patrolled the streets of Khallat al-Amoud, Ras al-Ain, the eastern area, the Old City and its surroundings. No house raids or detentions were reported.
