Discussing arrangements for celebrating National Coffee Day in Sana’a

A meeting in Sana'a province, headed by the province's advisor, Abdullah Al-Marouni, discussed today,Monday, arrangements for celebrating National Coffee Day in the province. The meeting, which included the directors of the Agriculture and Irrigation Offices, Engineer Ali Al-Qairi, Social Affairs Majid Al-Ghaili, Biology Ahmed Rajeh, and Bonyan Foundation Coordinator Majid Al-Jamali, stressed the importance of encouraging the expansion of coffee cultivation and increasing its production in a way that enhances its role and importance in supplying the national economy. The meeting approved the planting of more than 20,000 seedlings in the current agricultural season, which will be distributed to the province's directorates during the inauguration on the first day of next March. The Director of the Agriculture Office was tasked with preparing a chronic program for National Coffee Day and defining the role of the various parties participating in it. The director of the social affairs office in the province was also assigned to coordinate with Bonyan coordinator in the province, agricultural associations, and local councils in the districts to seriously interact with the coffee planting season and make it a success in the desired manner. The director of the agricultural financing unit must receive the coffee seedlings provided by the Yemen 2030 Foundation and distribute them to farmers in coordination with cooperative agricultural societies . The attendees praised the support of the Yemen 2030 Foundation and its role in expanding coffee cultivation in the province, by providing more than 21 thousand coffee seedlings.
