At Least Six Palestinian Civilians Killed, Dozens Injured in Gaza City Bombings

Gaza city: Six Palestinian civilians were killed and others injured on Saturday when the Israeli occupation forces bombed two houses in the Tuffah and Sabra neighborhoods of Gaza City, targeting people waiting for aid.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, medical sources reported that four people were killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a home belonging to the al-Jamla family near al-Shawabhi Square in the Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City. Additionally, a Palestinian woman lost her life, and several others were injured in an Israeli drone strike in the Sabra neighborhood, situated south of Gaza City.

Al-Awda Hospital confirmed that one civilian was killed and others were injured when the Israeli occupation forces opened fire on people waiting for aid in the central Gaza Strip. The Red Crescent Society noted that 14 people were injured by Israeli fire near al-Quds Hospital in Tel al-Hawa, Gaza City.

The Israeli occupation forces have maintained intense shelling and airstrikes on various areas of Gaza City since Saturday morning. This has resulted in numerous fatalities and injuries, affecting displaced persons and those seeking aid. Furthermore, the Israeli occupation army announced the closure of Salah al-Din Street to civilians forcibly displaced by the ongoing shelling, allowing only Rashid Coastal Street for access.

Reports indicate that around 17 Palestinian civilians have been killed by Israeli gunfire since dawn on Saturday, with 14 of those fatalities occurring in Gaza City.
