Baghdad, The Baghdad Operations Command carried out search and inspection operations within areas surrounding the capital. The command stated in a statement that: 'With the aim of enhancing security and stability, drying up the sources of terrorism, and pursuing outlaws, units of the Baghdad Operations Command, through the formations of the Infantry Divisions (sixth and seventeenth) and the units attached to them, with the support of agencies and intelligence services, carried out security operations for search, regional inspection, and armed reconnaissance in (Al-Mahmudiyah and its surrounding areas, Bustan Al-Lahibi, Bustan Al-Bu Hassan, Al-Hayaliyin, Al-Muslihiyya) within the areas north and south of the capital, Baghdad. It added: 'The operations resulted in the arrest of a number of defendants in accordance with various legal articles and the seizure of a pile of explosive materials (war remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs) containing (13) RBG7 shells of various types, three guided missiles, eight propell ant charges, and a quantity of equipment and bags of gunpowder ."
