Weather forecast: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies, sporadic rainfall expected

Weather today is partly cloudy to cloudy and cold in the mountains and relatively cold in other districts in daytime with no significant change in temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Weather tonight is partly cloudy and very cold, particularly in the mountains. Sporadic rainfall is expected with occasional thunderstorms. Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly wind blows. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and in Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 12C and a low of 7C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 11C and a low of 6C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 20C and a low of 12C, while it is expected to reach a high of 18C and a low of 12C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Tuesday’s weather is partly cloudy to cloudy and cold in the mountains and relatively cold in other districts in daytime and very cold in the night, particularly in the mountains, with steady temperature. Sporadic light rainfall are expected, especially in the north.

The same weather conditions are expected for Wednesday, with drizzle to sporadic light rainfall, especially in the north.

Thursday’s temperature is set to rise and become slightly above seasonal, with partly cloudy and cold to relatively cold conditions in daytime and very cold conditions in the night.

PMD warns people against slippery roads and low horizontal visibility.
