HEBRON: Israeli colonists destroyed on Wednesday Palestinian-owned residential structures in the Jurat Al-Kheil community east of the town of Sa'ir near Hebron. This destruction included the complete demolition of over 15 residential structures and the confiscation of their belongings. Local resident, Ahmad Shallaldeh told WAFA that families were taken by surprise by the demolition, which likely occurred in the past two days. Residents only learned of the destruction when several community members managed to reach the area to check on their abandoned homes and possessions, which had been left behind two days ago due to increasing threats by colonists. Colonists seized all household items, including clothes, furniture, windows and doors. More than 20 costly solar energy units were also seized and destroyed. Fifteen families were forcibly displaced from the area due to threats by armed colonial groups. These colonial gangs have carried out ongoing assaults, resulting in widespread property destruction and th e theft of a substantial number of sheep. At the end of last month, dozens of colonists dressed in military attire stole 300 sheep, and physically assaulted local residents, confiscated their cell phones and issued death threats against them. This incident marks the second demolition of Jurat al-Kheil community, which was first destroyed in 2016. In October of last year, colonists also completely demolished the al-Qanoub community, east of Sa'is, forcing five families to evacuate their homes.
