Ramallah: Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa congratulated Iraq's Prime Minister-designate Ali al-Zaidi on being tasked with forming a new government, expressing his wishes for success and for the formation of a cabinet that advances progress and prosperity for the Iraqi people. According to Palestine news and Information Agency - WAFA, Mustafa reaffirmed the State of Palestine's full support for Iraq's sovereignty over all its territory and its commitment to the country's security and stability. He also praised Iraq's longstanding and principled positions in support of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, stressing the importance of maintaining this support. He expressed Palestine's readiness to strengthen joint cooperation with Iraq across political, economic, and cultural fields, emphasizing the need to activate joint committees in the coming phase. Mustafa also underscored the importance of continued Arab coordination in light of current challenges, calling for coll ective efforts to enhance security and stability in the region.
