RAMALLAH: Health Minister, Majid Abu Ramadan, said the escalating Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip is preventing children from receiving their second dose of the polio vaccine. In a statement released on Wednesday, Abu Ramadan highlighted the significant risks faced by both children and healthcare workers, which impede their access to vaccination centers. He emphasized that the second dose of the vaccine is crucial for achieving full immunity against polio. Over the past few days, the Ministry of Health has been making urgent appeals to international health organizations, stressing the need for action and increased pressure on Israeli authorities to cease their aggression and allow families and healthcare teams to vaccinate children.
