GAZA: Two civilians were killed and others were injured on Wednesday in an Israeli occupation forces shelling south of Deir al-Balah. Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation forces targeted a vehicle belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) on Salah al-Din Street south of Deir al-Balah, killing two citizens and wounding others. The Commissioner-General of UNRWA, Philippe Lazzarini, had called for an immediate humanitarian truce in the northern Gaza Strip, which has been under siege for more than two weeks. He said, "People in northern Gaza are just waiting for death, bodies are lying on the roads, or under the rubble, and missions to remove them or provide humanitarian assistance are being refused." He added, "Our employees in northern Gaza cannot find food, water, or medical care." Source: Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA
