RAMALLAH: Weather today in Palestine is partially cloudy to cloudy, cold and rainy, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD). Winds are westerly to southwesterly, moderate to active, and sea waves are meduim to high. A new low-pressure front is expected to affect the country on Thursday night through Friday, and temperature is expected to significantly drop as rain is expected on most areas. Saturday's weather is expected to be rainy, cold to very cold and windy as the country remains impacted by the low-pressure front. Another low pressure is expected to affect the country on Sunday, bringing along rain and thunderstorms on most areas. The PMD warned citizens against the risk of flash floods and flooding in valleys and low-lying areas, as well as about the danger of slippery roads and reduced visibility.
