The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Wednesday that it had destroyed two anti-ship cruise missile launchers in the area controlled by the Houthi "Ansar Allah" movement in Yemen. Centcom said in a statement on the X platform today, Wednesday: 'During the past 24 hours, US Central Command forces succeeded in destroying two anti-ship cruise missile (ASCM) launchers belonging to the Houthis in Yemen.' The statement added, "The missile launchers posed a direct threat to American and coalition forces and ships passing through the region." The statement concluded: The American forces will continue to take measures to protect freedom of navigation and make international waters protected and safer for ships in the Red Sea region.
