Ramallah: Colonists raised Israeli flags this morning at the entrance to the village of Ein Sinya and the roundabout near the city of Rawabi, north of Ramallah. According to Palestine News and Information Agency, local sources reported that dozens of settlers demonstrated in the early morning hours at these entrances in a provocative move coinciding with the 78th anniversary of the Nakba. This action is perceived as an attempt to distort the reality on the ground. The settlers displayed hundreds of Israeli flags under the protection of Israeli occupation forces. The sources further added that Israeli forces closed the Ein Sinya and Atara checkpoints, along with the Rawabi roundabout, to secure the colonists' presence. This closure enabled the colonists to demonstrate and vandalize the area without interference.
