Two youths moderately injured by live fire in confrontations east of Qalqilia


Two youths were injured by live fire this evening during confrontations with Israeli forces in the village of Baqa al-Hatab to the east of Qalqilia, according to local sources.

Sources said that confrontations erupted following a military incursion into several neighborhoods in the village. Forces attacked residents with live ammunition and stun grenades, shooting and injuring two youths in the pelvis and thigh, which necessitated their transfer to the hospital, where their condition was described as moderate.

In the meantime, several people suffocated fired by the Israeli army during confrontations in the al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron.

Local sources said confrontations broke out at the camp’s entrance, during which Israeli soldiers stationed at the nearby military tower fired tear gas bombs and stun grenades toward residents, causing several people to suffocate.
