RAMALLAH: The Palestinian official media has condemned the ongoing targeting of Palestinian and Lebanese journalists by Israeli occupation forces, describing these actions as violations of international law and humanitarian principles. In a statement released today, the official media highlighted that the Israeli occupation blatantly infringes upon international law and various treaties by attacking journalists in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon. It viewed these actions as attempts to silence voices and intimidate media representatives, preventing them from reporting on the atrocities of genocide being perpetrated and distorting the truth. The official media also pointed out that this targeting is part of a broader pattern of systematic aggression against media outlets and journalists in the region. The official media urged the international community to take urgent action to halt Israeli aggression and to protect media professionals in both Lebanon and Palestine.
