The Sudanese Armed Forces announced today that its anti-aircraft weapons intercepted two drones that targeted the commemoration site of the graduation of batches from military, air and naval colleges following its conclusion at the Jubayt base in eastern Sudan, in the presence of the Chairperson of the Sudan Sovereign Council General Abdul Fatah Al-Burhan. In a statement, the Sudanese Armed Forces reported that the incident had resulted in five deaths and minor injuries. The Sudanese News Agency (SUNA) had previously reported that Lieutenant General Al-Burhan witnessed the graduation of batch 68 from the Military College and batches 20 and 23 from the Qualifying College, the Air College and the Naval Academy at the Infantry Institute Stadium in Jubayt, Red Sea State.
