Israeli Army Blocks PRCS from Operating at Tulkarm Headquarters

Tulkarm: The Israeli army has intervened to prevent the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) from operating outside its headquarters in Tulkarm. This morning, soldiers ordered the humanitarian organization's staff to vacate the area immediately.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the director of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, Manal Al-Hafi, reported that the soldiers entered the society's premises and demanded that all parked vehicles be removed. Staff members were instructed to return home under threat of arms. Despite highlighting the presence of a section for orphaned children and their caretakers inside the headquarters, the forces insisted on the evacuation.

Al-Hafi explained that the society had to comply with the orders, shutting its doors under military pressure. The humanitarian nature of their work and their role in responding to emergencies, especially during the current Israeli aggression on Tulkarm and its camp, was overlooked by the forces.

The incursions in Tulkarm have been ongoing for the fourth consecutive day, with the Israeli occupation forces conducting raids on residential and commercial properties. These operations have resulted in significant damage to infrastructure and property, as buildings are repurposed into military posts, exacerbating the city's distress.
