Jerusalem: Israeli occupation forces detained and assaulted a Palestinian man on Friday while he was present in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources said Israeli forces detained community activist Mohammad Abu al-Hummus and assaulted him near the Moroccan Gate area of the mosque compound.
