Bethlehem - Ma'an - The occupation forces notified, on Wednesday, the demolition of 10 houses under construction in the village of Al-Malha, east of Bethlehem. Murad Jadal, head of the village council in Al-Malha, told Ma'an's correspondent in Bethlehem that the occupation forces stormed the village and delivered notices to demolish homes under construction. He added that this comes within the framework of the occupation's recent policy towards the eastern areas of Bethlehem Governorate, which aims to force residents to leave the area and prevent them from building. The eastern areas of Bethlehem Governorate have been exposed to a major escalation in the recent period, represented by repeated raids by settlers, their attacks on Palestinian villages, the theft and burning of agricultural crops, and attempts to build settlement outposts.
