The Minister of Interior issues a final warning to the investment companies implementing the projects

The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, issued a final warning to the investment companies implementing the projects.

A statement by the Ministry said, “The Minister of Interior, Abd al-Amir al-Shammari, is following up the work of the Ministry’s joints and formations, and through his continuous tours in the departments of the Directorate of Civil Status, Passports and Residence, and his meeting with citizens, he diagnosed a number of observations regarding the provision of services to auditors.”

The statement added, as a result of that, “Al-Shammari held two separate meetings, the first in the presence of the directors of civil status, passports and residence, and representatives of the German company, which provides the general nationality with raw materials for passports and the national card, and representatives of the Embassy of this company, regarding the provision of these materials, while the other meeting included the executing company of the electronic passport project.

Al-Shammari issued, according to the statement, “a final warning to the investment companies implementing the projects and service providers,” stressing “the need to end the suffering of citizens in obtaining identification documents and adherence to the terms of service, and to expedite the provision of raw materials, passport forms and the national card.”
