Social Development Minister Wafaa Bani Mustafa met on Monday with Palestinian Social Development Minister, Samah Hamad, on several issues, including the Palestinian Children's Conference, which will be held this year in Amman, and means of joint cooperation and coordination. Bani Mustafa stressed King Abdullah II's stance and his multiple diplomatic and political efforts to stop the aggression on the Gaza Strip. She discussed the importance of holding the Palestinian Children's Conference, organized by the Arab League with wide Arab participation, and the joint efforts in preparing for it to achieve its desired goal. Bani Mustafa emphasized the need to highlight Israeli violations of children's rights and ensure wide participation from all parties concerned with human rights in the conference. The meeting discussed the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization's (JHCO) ongoing efforts over the past months and is still continuing to deliver humanitarian and relief aid to the people of Gaza, which is a great a nd mighty effort that comes in response to the directives of His Majesty the King and its humanitarian role. For her part, the Palestinian Development Minister expressed her appreciation for King Abdullah's efforts to stop the aggression on Gaza and deliver humanitarian and medical aid to the people of the Strip, looking forward to deepening joint cooperation between the two sides and enabling the Palestinian Child Conference, which comes through joint efforts by the two countries and the Arab League, to achieve success.
