Second round of polio vaccination campaign to begin in Gaza tomorrow, says Health Minister

The Minister of Health, Majid Abu Ramadan, said the second round of the emergency polio vaccination campaign targeting children under age ten in the war-torn Gaza Strip will begin tomorrow, Monday. The Ministry stressed that the success of the campaign hinges on the continuation of the humanitarian truce, which is essential to allow health workers to operate safely and ensure that families have access to the necessary vaccinations for their children. The campaign aims to vaccinate 591,700 children under the age of ten, utilizing both mobile and fixed teams to ensure comprehensive coverage across the Strip.
