Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense on Tuesday announced that it intercepted six long-range missiles launched by Ukrainian forces. The ministry said in a statement that the Russian air defense destroyed six missiles over the past 24 hours without specifying their location. The US State Department announced last week that Washington had sent missiles to Ukraine last February at the direct request of President Joe Biden, but the Kremlin saw that this new supply would not change anything in the war.
