Relatively Hot Weather Tuesday, Heat Wave Expected in Coming Days

Temperatures on Tuesday are expected to see a slight increase, with relatively hot conditions prevailing across most regions of the kingdom. The weather will be particularly hot in the desert areas, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, accompanied by low-altitude clouds in the northern and central parts of the country. Winds will be northwesterly, moderate in speed, occasionally becoming active. According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, the kingdom will experience the impact of a hot and dry air mass from the Arabian Peninsula starting Wednesday. This will result in a further rise in temperatures, bringing dry and hot weather to most regions, with scorching conditions in the desert areas, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will continue to be northwesterly, moderate in speed, and occasionally becoming active. By Thursday, mercury levels are expected to be higher than the seasonal average by approximately 4-5 degrees Celsius. The weather will remain dry and hot in most regions, with extremely hot conditions persisting in the desert areas, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Northwesterly winds will be moderate, occasionally becoming active. A slight decrease in temperatures is anticipated on Friday; however, the weather will continue to be dry and hot across most regions, with scorching conditions in the desert areas, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be northwesterly, moderate in speed, occasionally becoming active. The maximum and minimum temperatures for today are expected to be 35 C and 25 C in East Amman, 33 C and 23 C in West Amman, 30 C and 20 C in the northern highlands, 31 C and 21 C in the Sharah highlands, 42 C and 29 C at the Dead Sea, and 43 C and 30 C in the Gulf of Aqaba.
