Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 0.98 points, or 0.01% to reach the level of 10,123 points at the beginning of trading on Sunday, compared to Thursday's closing. QSE general index was supported by a rise in Industrials by 0.23%; Real Estate by 0.21%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.18%; and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.03%. However, the index saw a decline in Insurance by 0.84%; Transportation by 0.58%; and Telecoms by 0.31%. By 10:00 am, 40.685 million shares were traded in 2,489 transactions valued QR 70.698 million.
