Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 22.86 points, or 0.23%, at the beginning of trading on Sunday, reaching 9,984 points, compared to yesterday's closing. Figures from Qatar Stock Exchange showed a positive performance in Consumer Goods and Services sectors by 0.32%; Industrials by 0.31%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.28%; Real Estate by 0.11%; and Telecoms by 0.07%. On the other hand, the index saw a decline in Insurance sector by 0.13%; and Transportations by 0.07%. At 10:00 am, QSE registered trading of 24.408 million shares in 2,088 transactions valued QR 58.975 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
