The general index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Wednesday's trading up by 74.36 points, or by 0.74 percent, to reach 10,140.67 points.
During today's session, 255,798,321 shares were traded, with a value of QR 604,674,796.192, as a result of implementing 24,613 transactions in all sectors.
The shares of 34 companies rose during the session, and the prices of nine others decreased, while three companies maintained their previous closing price.
At the end of the trading session, the market capitalization amounted to QR 597,643,139,913.730, compared to QR 593,678,546,686.910 in the previous session.
