HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the Arab League Tariq Ali Faraj Al Ansari emphasized the State of Qatar's keenness to ensure the achievement of the highest quality indicators in all inputs and outputs of the educational process in a way that meets the needs of society by making fruitful efforts towards achieving the goals and agenda of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially the fourth goal concerned with the quality of education while reimagining the future of education and ensuring the right to education as one of the fundamental human rights. His Excellency said that these efforts of the State of Qatar have consolidated its position in the field of education and sustainable development, confirming its keenness and wise leadership to develop the educational system according to the latest educational, technical, and innovative methods and approaches that keep pace with the spirit of the time, after making the investment in good education as one of its top priorities at the national and international levels. This came during HE the Ambassador's participation as a keynote speaker and guest of honor at the graduation ceremony of a new batch from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT). In a speech during the ceremony, His Excellency voiced his pride in the graduation of Qatari leaders from the AASTMT, who have become role models in their fields, carrying the banner of knowledge and science up high, and contributing to achieving Qatar National Vision 2030 under the wise leadership. His Excellency pointed out that the AASTMT has always embodied the spirit of Arabism and the values of its rich culture, as one of the important entities under the umbrella of the Arab League. He stressed that it represents a distinguished scientific edifice that combines science, technology, and management, and emphasizes the importance of sustainable excellence, development, and the ado ption of scientific research and development. His Excellency stressed that the challenges facing the Arab region require the AASTMT's graduates to keep pace with rapid developments in technology and focus efforts on scientific specializations, in a way that serves the future of the Arab nation, in addition to reviewing all reports and outputs of the United Nations related to the sustainable development agenda and the basics of building the international system, including disarmament and international security, economy and development, human rights, social development and family affairs, global political issues, as well as the key global and regional agreements. For their part, President of AASTMT Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar and the participants in the ceremony praised the role of the State of Qatar in governance, development, and support for education.
