The Public Security Directorate (PSD) issued a weather advisory for the next two days, citing the possibility of isolated showers of rain, the development of fog in the early morning hours, and dusty winds, particularly in the eastern areas. The PSD advised exercising caution while driving and maintaining a safe space between cars, particularly during the initial few raindrops, which could cause slides by combining rainfall with dust and car debris on the roadways. It also stressed the importance of ensuring the safety of tires and brakes to avoid traffic accidents. The PSD urged the public to never hesitate to dial 911 in an emergency, indicating both its high level of preparedness and the deployment of its field-based traffic patrols.
