Ramallah: The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast a week of variable weather conditions, with temperatures poised to fluctuate above and below the annual average. Monday’s weather is expected to be partly cloudy to clear, with moderate temperatures in the mountainous regions and relatively hot conditions elsewhere. A slight drop in temperatures is anticipated, although they will remain slightly above the annual norm. Winds are predicted to be northwesterly to westerly, ranging from light to moderate, while sea waves will be light to medium.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the evening and night hours on Monday will bring partly cloudy to clear skies, with relatively cold conditions in the mountainous regions and pleasant weather in the rest of the country. Winds will maintain a northwesterly direction, moderate in speed, with occasional activity.
The forecast for Tuesday remains consistent with partly cloudy to clear skies, moderate temperatures in mountainous
regions, and relatively hot conditions elsewhere. Temperatures are expected to stay slightly above the annual average.
Wednesday’s weather will see a significant rise in temperatures, with partly cloudy to clear conditions, hot weather in mountainous areas, and very hot conditions elsewhere. Temperatures will soar to their highest annual average, exceeding it by approximately 10-12 degrees Celsius. Moderate southeasterly winds will intensify during the evening and night, while sea waves will remain low.
The PMD predicts a shift on Thursday, with partly cloudy, spring-like conditions across most parts of the country. Temperatures will experience a significant drop, aligning with the annual average. Some areas may see scattered rain. Winds will vary from moderate northwesterly to southwesterly, occasionally picking up, and the sea is expected to have medium-wavelength waves.
