In a new Israeli massacre this evening, five children were killed and several others were injured by Israeli airstrikes targeting the western part of the Al-Shati (Beach) refugee camp, located north of Gaza City. Local sources indicated that an Israeli drone shelled a group of children playing near a Cafe in the Al-Shati camp. The airstrike instantly killed the five children and left several others injured. Since the escalation of hostilities on October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have continued their assault on the Gaza Strip from land, sea, and air. As of the latest reports, the ongoing conflict has resulted in the deaths of at least 42,227 Palestinians and injuries to 98,464 others, the majority of whom are women and children. These figures remain preliminary, as many remain unaccounted for, trapped beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings. The ongoing Israeli occupation's ground, sea and air offensive on the besieged enclave since October 7, 2023, resulted in the killing of more than 42,227 civilians, and the wounding of 98,464 others, mostly children and women. Thousands of victims remain missing; either buried under the rubble or scattered on the roads, as rescue teams face tremendous difficulties in reaching them due to the continued Israeli attacks and the massive amount of debris.
