A force from the Federal Police arrested a suspect in the crime of premeditated murder, after an exchange of fire, in Baghdad. The Federal Police Command stated in a statement: "A force from the Fifth Division of the Federal Police, in cooperation with a detachment from the Directorate of Combating Organized Crime, arrested a suspect in the crime of premeditated murder, as a result of a distinguished security and intelligence effort that resulted in identifying and surrounding the location of the suspect in Al-Intisar area in Al-Rashidiya district in Baghdad." It added: "The suspect was arrested after an exchange of fire between him and the implementing force, without any injuries, and a Kalashnikov rifle was seized from him."
