Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Planning, Mohammed Tamim, chaired a meeting today, Tuesday, which included the Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Planning and Transport, the Prime Minister's Advisors for Economic and Technical Affairs, and a number of Directors-General and Specialists in the Ministries of Finance, Planning and Transport. During the meeting, the steps taken by the relevant government agencies regarding the implementation of the first phase of the Development Road Project were discussed, which includes the rehabilitation of the current railways, with the establishment of new sections, with a length of 1,200 km extending from the port of Faw in the south, to the Turkish border in the north.
