Doha: Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding Company's (a Qatari public shareholding company) net profits declined by 32 percent to reach QR 398.380 million in the first half of 2024, compared to a net profit of QR 584.852 million in the same period last year. Earnings per share amounted to QR 0.032 in the period ending June 30, 2024, compared to earnings per share of QR 0.047 in the same period last year, according to data issued by the company. The Company's Board of Directors decided to distribute a total interim cash dividend of QR 339 million, equivalent to QR 0.027 per share, or 2.7% of the nominal value of the share for the period ending on June 30, 2024. In accordance with the relevant regulations, the interim cash dividends will be distributed to shareholders at the end of trading on August 20, 2024, where Edaa will undertake the tasks of distributing interim cash dividends in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations.
