The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, received today, Tuesday, the European Union Ambassador to Iraq, Thomas Seiler. A statement by the regional government stated that during the meeting, which was attended by the head of the European Union office in Erbil, Radu Botom, views were exchanged on ways to enhance bilateral relations. The two sides also reviewed the reforms implemented by the ninth ministerial formation in the fields of finance, the banking system, combating corruption, reducing bureaucracy, and preventing the waste of public wealth.
