Israeli occupation forces significantly intensified the restrictions imposed on the movement of Palestinians across various governorates in the West Bank today, implementing roadblocks and restricting access to cities, towns, and villages. Local sources reported that heightened restrictions are particularly evident around Ramallah and Al-Bireh, where the Atara checkpoint remains closed, along with the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh and the main entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh. In Hebron, Israeli occupation forces have also intensified their closures, maintaining barriers in the Old City and establishing multiple military checkpoints at key access points. Israeli troops have been conducting searches of vehicles and closely inspecting identification documents of residents. In the northern Jordan Valley, the Israeli checkpoints of Tayaseer and Hamra are experiencing severe traffic congestion in both directions, with thorough searches being conducted by the Israeli occupation military. Moreov er, all military checkpoints leading to occupied Jerusalem and 1948-occupied Palestine remain closed, further restricting movement for Palestinians in and out of these regions.
