The Israeli aggression on Jenin City and its refugee camp, which lasted for 8 hours today, resulted in the killing of a child and a young man, the injury of four people and the destruction of public and private properties. Local sources told WAFA that the occupation forces withdrew from the Al-Aloub and Al-Hawashin neighborhoods inside the Jenin camp, and from the center of Jenin city and the outskirts of the Al-Sibat neighborhood, where they were stationed throughout the raid. The sources added that the occupation bulldozers destroyed part of a house in the Al-Aloub neighborhood, and also bulldozed the infrastructure at the Hisan Roundabout at the entrance of the camp. Medical sources announced the killing of 17-year-old Rayan Ibrahim al-Sayed, and 23-year-old Mahmoud Mamoun Abu al-Rub by Israeli gunfire, in addition to the injury of four citizens with various wounds during the military onslaught. WAFA correspondent said that Abu Al-Rub spent four years in the occupation prisons, and was released five mo nths ago after serving his sentence. Local sources said that Israeli soldiers detained a paramedic while he was on duty in the camp. Furthermore, UNRWA schools were evacuated after students were held inside for more than seven hours, unable to exit due to the presence of Israeli forces nearby. Emergency teams also rescued a group of children who were stuck inside their kindergarten in the camp. Israeli forces also deliberately fired live ammunition at a group of journalists covering the aggression near the Cinema Roundabout. The killing of al-Sayed and Abu al-Rab brings the number of Palestinians killed since the onset of Israel's aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7, 2023, to 754, including 165 children.
