Colonists Cut Off Scores of Olive Trees East of Nablus

Nablus: Israeli colonists Saturday cut off scores of centuries-old olive trees for Palestinian farmers in the village of Rujeib, east of Nablus, according to local sources. They said that a group of Israeli colonists from the illegal colony of Itamar, built on private Palestinian land, sneaked their way into the village and cut down several olive trees on land owned by Shehada Jamil Rawajbeh.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli colonist violence against Palestinians and their property is commonplace in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli occupation authorities.
