HEBRON: Israeli occupation forces Sunday evening detained a Palestinian youth from the Old City of Hebron, and closed the vicinity of the Ibrahimi Mosque. Local sources said that the occupation forces arrested a young man - whose identity was not known - after detaining him at a military checkpoint in the Old City. The occupation forces were also intensively deployed in the streets and neighborhoods of the Old City, preventing Palestinians from moving around and reaching the Ibrahimi Mosque, as a number of colonists performed their Talmudic rituals, while a number of others gathered at the main entrance linking Farsh al-Hawa intersection street, near the military checkpoint that the occupation forces installed to detain and interrogate people. The occupation forces set up a military checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Idhna, west of Hebron, obstructing the movement and passage of citizens.
