Israeli Airstrike Results in Fatalities and Injuries in Central Gaza.

Nuseirat: An Israeli airstrike targeted a residential home in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza on Saturday evening, leading to the deaths of at least six Palestinians and injuring three others. Local sources indicated that the strike, which hit a house belonging to the Abu Seif family, caused significant destruction and resulted in the loss of innocent lives. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli warplanes launched the attack, which left many of the victims' bodies in pieces due to the severity of the explosion. Eyewitnesses stated that those injured, some critically, were transported to Al-Awda Hospital within the camp for medical care. The remains of the deceased were also taken to the hospital. The assault is part of the broader Israeli military operations in Gaza that have been ongoing since October 2023, which have led to at least 44,176 Palestinian fatalities and over 104,473 injuries. There are concerns that thousands may be trapped under debris, inaccessible to rescue teams due to continued Israeli attacks. Despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice to prevent further genocide and address the humanitarian crisis, the Israeli military operations continue without pause.
